Scott Cook - Director Aviation Services
Scott has extensive experience in the areas of Passenger Facilitation and Biometric Border Control Systems. He has been a central figure in the introduction of biometrics into Australian International Airports and has successfully delivered several generations of SmartGate projects working with the Australian Government.
Scott couples his significant experience with a keen interest in assisting clients to realise their full potential. By working closely with clients he is able to formulate intuitive, intelligent strategies to increase efficiencies and ultimately enhance profitability.
David Lee - Director Project Services
David has intimate knowledge of planning and delivery in airport operational environments, including the sensitivities around effective stakeholder management, facilitating negotiations and commercial dealings, approvals and effect of disruptions to aviation asset owners.
His strengths in delivery of projects lie in his base skills in technical understanding and his demonstrated experience in passenger facilitation systems. Having established and successfully delivered numerous civil infrastructure, terminal planning, facilitation and terminal efficiency projects, David has proven skills and expertise in delivering projects in aviation related operational environments. His involvement in delivering biometric capabilities extends from the first generation roll-out of SmartGates in 2007.
Tony Collyer - Business Analyst
Tony is an exceptional, results-driven leader who loves to work with our growing clientele. As an experienced Business Analyst and Tester manager, Tony is eager to help our clients, adding a personal touch to our excellent services.
Tony has extensive experience in both generations of SmartGates, working as a business analyst and test manager. He also has years of experience of supporting Defence with their IT projects as test manager and within the Passport Office of DFAT.
Jason Cook - Project Manager
Jason is solutions-oriented Project Manager who fosters valuable stakeholder relationships to achieve client objectives. With a background in military aviation engineering, he is a critical thinker who brings with him solid technical capabilities. A certified Prince2 Practitioner, Jason also possesses skills and qualifications in Quality Auditing, Privacy Impact Assessment and Change Management.
Postgraduate qualifications in Human Factors enables Jason to consider the impact of this important element on the success of projects. Utilising his superior communication skills he is able to establish and develop constructive client and vendor relationships. Jason is dedicated to effectively and intelligently implementing the expertise and experience that Avatas brings to all of its clients.
